Our commitment
Coastal Healthcare Advocates, LLC is committed to making coastalhealthcareadvocates.org usable for as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. We treat digital accessibility as part of doing this work well. Many of the people who come to us are already dealing with illness, disability, or the stress of a denied claim, and the site shouldn't add to that.
Standard we aim for
We design and build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we use those guidelines together with the accessibility expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act as our reference points.
What that means on this site
- Clearly structured pages with proper headings and landmark regions.
- Full keyboard operation, including the navigation, the FAQs, and the contact form.
- A visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- Text and controls that meet AA color-contrast ratios, and body text that stays readable when the page is zoomed to 200% or more.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system.
- A panel (the gear button in the header and footer) for a larger text size, a light or dark theme, a plain reader mode, or turning animations off.
- Labels, hints, and error messages on every form field.
Conformance status
Status: Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some parts of the site may not yet fully meet the standard.
Our most recent internal accessibility review was completed in September 2026.
Known limitations
We aren't aware of significant accessibility barriers on this site at this time. If a formal audit identifies issues, they will be listed here along with the plan and timeline for fixing them. The PDF documents linked from this site, such as Lindsey's profile and the pricing sheet, are tagged for screen readers to the PDF/UA standard. If one doesn't work with your assistive technology, contact us and we'll provide the information in another format.
